General Vending Services was founded on November 11, 1971 in the Fort Lauderdale area by Albert Cassorla, who built it into a substantial amusement vending operation specializing in cigarette machines, coin laundry, and hotel-based equipment.

After Albert’s passing, the company was acquired out of bankruptcy in 2005 and has continued to evolve through every major shift in the industry since — from cigarette machines and jukeboxes to today’s cashless payment systems and full-room entertainment experiences.

The name and the service philosophy have carried forward for over 50 years; the equipment has simply kept up with the times.
